Client Spotlight: Samaritan Center

The Samaritan Center is a not-for-profit organization providing food and assistance to those in need here in Central New York. They have over 800 community volunteers and serve hot meals 365 days a year, no questions asked. They recently came to Cowley to help them with a new logo and website to put a new face to their organization.

A Warm, Inviting Logo

The Samaritan Center needed a logo that was both warm and inviting and one that represent their organization and their mission. Their new logo uses deep, rich colors that instantly make your heart feel warm and fuzzy inside. The dark green and terracotta orange radiate the sensations of sincerity and openness, two things the Samaritan Center wanted to achieve.

The icon we used represents a bowl with steam coming off of it. They show that the Samaritan Center actually serves hot meals and provides something people will enjoy and come back for.

A Website Just as Mission Driven 

No new organizational image is complete without a new website to go along with it. The Samaritan Center wanted to capitalize on their branding with a website to match. Cowley used the same green and terracotta colors to build the site. We also utilized icons and plates of food to show visitors information in an interesting way.

The website is also easy to navigate and makes finding information on the organization quick and simple. Both the Samaritan Center and Cowley found that this site was clean, modern, and engaging to the target audience.

Feeding Those in Need for Years to Come

The Samaritan Centeris closing in on a new home for its operations. They will be able to continue their operation and expand their capacity to feed those who need it most in the Central New York community. We are excited to be working alongside them through the supporting capital campaign and help them grow their organization!
