I heard about the Creekwalk from a friend and resolved to check it out the next time I biked to work. My friend had given me a rough idea of where to find it—near Destiny USA—as I came in from Liverpool on my way to Cowley's office.
I had only been on the Creekwalk once before. When I was a groomsman in a friend’s wedding, we took photos on it. That was down towards the Franklin Square area, and I vaguely remember a black iron railing system that ran along the path.
The Intern. The errand-runner. The coffee-fetcher. The copy-maker.
The clichés about typical intern tasks can be endless. Yet I was fortunate enough to have landed an internship that not once asked me to get coffee, drop off mail or make 500+ copies. Instead, Cowley and Associates allowed me to truly dive into the field of marketing and have a real purpose within the company. My unique opportunity to do both a Strategic and Graphic Design internship allowed me to better not only my Competitive Research Analysis skills, but also my Adobe skills and creative eye.

06/22/2016
Cowley Associates welcomes Heather Malinowski as Project Manager. Heather earned her Master’s Degree at SUNY Oswego in 2013. She brings excellent expertise, organizational, and time management skills to her new role in addition to her ability to easily and effectively communicate and explain sometimes complex ideas to our clients.
“We’re very happy to have Heather here growing the Cowley team.” says Gail. “Her skill set and experience will be of great benefit to all of our clients.”
The Cowley open house last Thursday was a great success. To record this event in the internet history books we put together this short video with some time lapse and pictures. We hope you enjoy it, and thanks again to everyone who made it out to see us!
The Cowley Blog Awards; Basically Better Than The Oscars
02/26/2015
Just in case you couldn’t get enough of The Oscars, we decided to create our own awards: The Cowley Blog Awards, which are basically better than The Oscars anyways. After hours of consideration and reading blogs, we can ensure that this year’s Cowley Blog Awards winners are well deserving of the title. All together, we came up with six awards. Awards were handed out in the following categories: Internet marketing, SEO, Web Design, About Cowley, Production Design, and Visual Effects. Check out the list of award winners below and let us know what you think.
Zach gives a quick walkthrough of our new office space at 407 S Warren St. We are still setting some things up, but we were so excited that we just had to give you a sneak peak.
It’s an action classic. Anti-air shells explode all around them as a mismatched group of Army Rangers free fall to the ground in a multi-ton tank! A strangely blond version of Liam Neeson orders a cowboy version of Bradley Cooper to fire on the ground in order to steer the vessel and slow their fall. With the help of a few parachutes, the tank crash-lands safely in a conveniently placed lake, startling the cliché fishing boat.
“I love it when a plan comes together,” says Neeson’s infamous Colonel Hannibal Smith.
It’s getting colder, and if you’re young or young at heart, that means Christmas is not far away. Christmas, for most of us, has become a day off from work, a chance to get something from somebody special, and time to hang out with family members you rarely get to see; oh, and eat good food. There are the Christmas songs on the radio (they start before Halloween now!) and the lights and decorations - all that stuff that reminds you of the wonderment of being a kid in December.
The Inspiration For Our New VideoKix! - "Fly With Us"
09/12/2013
We have wanted to do an about us video for some time. We've had different ideas and depending on how closely you follow us you may have seen them. There was a couch video where everyone magically appears on a couch. There was the standard "film you working" approach. Then there was the best worst idea we've ever had: float a camera into the sky. Well, we did, the line broke, and that camera is gone forever.
