Make Your Mark: What does your brand mark say about you?

There’s a lot more to your brand than just a clever logo or image. It’s also fair to say that a successful brand has a recognizable and compelling visual identity.
I heard about the Creekwalk from a friend and resolved to check it out the next time I biked to work. My friend had given me a rough idea of where to find it—near Destiny USA—as I came in from Liverpool on my way to Cowley's office.
I had only been on the Creekwalk once before. When I was a groomsman in a friend’s wedding, we took photos on it. That was down towards the Franklin Square area, and I vaguely remember a black iron railing system that ran along the path.
They say you have seven seconds to make a first impression. In today’s fast-paced digital world, it’s even less. Your website is a direct connection to consumers. It’s owned media, a rare chance to be in control of the content. It's a wasted opportunity if you don’t use these few split seconds to engage your customer.

A company’s website can play a crucial role in converting a user into a client or a customer. In just .05 seconds, a new visitor will make a snap judgment about the site and decide whether or not they like it. So, the difference between a good website and a great website can mean hundreds, thousands, or millions of dollars for your business making it crucial to pay attention to the details. Here are some factors to consider when making your website’s design go from good to great:
Radicle Innovation is the brainchild of entrepreneur and Agency friend, Al Di Rienzo. Cowley recently finished a complete overhaul of the CenterState CEO website. We gave it a brand new design, integrated it with the Drupal Content Management System, and introduced a whole new user experience that makes the site easier and faster to use.
Every year web design continues to evolve and change as technology improves and designers like myself get more creative with what we can do in the digital space. A website, for many companies, is no longer just a digital brochure that has the “Yes Ma’am” facts with a phone number attached to call. No, websites have turned into entertainment experiences that not only must please the visitor, but also deliver hard business results.
Cowley recently launched a new website for Loretto, “a comprehensive continuing care organization which provides a variety of healthcare services for adults of all ages throughout Central New York.” The website showcases a full-width, responsive design that highlights emotionally engaging images aimed to connect with the visitor in a more sensitive way. The two-toned, blue color scheme is modern and easy to read on any device. The site also boasts a simplified and easy-to-use navigation system so visitors of any age can quickly and easily find what they’re looking for.
Last week Cowley launched a brand new website for FamilyCare Medical Group! FCMG is a multispecialty medical group made up of over 80 physicians and 50 nurse practitioners in a wide variety of specialties. They practice in over 40 locations throughout Onondaga, Cayuga, and Cortland counties, and they’re constantly adding new doctors and locations.
