The Samaritan Center is a not-for-profit organization providing food and assistance to those in need here in Central New York. They have over 800 community volunteers and serve hot meals 365 days a year, no questions asked. They recently came to Cowley to help them with a new logo and website to put a new face to their organization.
Digital signage is a hot trend in the ad industry, but it’s arguably even hotter with tech companies. Our client, Seneca (formerly known as Seneca Data), came to Cowley to produce a video and print ad promoting their digital media player specifically made for digital signage, the Seneca HDN. The video had to be a blend of easily digestible information and technological lingo to showcase the features of Seneca’s innovative equipment to consumers already in the digital signage industry. The print ad needed to catch the eye and convey the power this equipment has, too.
Just imagine it. It’s two degrees outside, white powder is falling and Mother Nature is doing her best job of snowing you in. But, unlike the kids who have school cancelled, you have to go to work. Ugh. That means shoveling…lots of back-breaking, I’m going to be sore later, shoveling.
That could have been you this morning, or any other time this frigid winter. That could have been your husband, wife, mother, father, kid, grandparent, boss, whoever.

A few months ago we had a moment of SEO success that turned out to be “the beginning of a beautiful friendship” (Casablanca). We’ve been climbing up the rankings for “Syracuse website design”; and one fine day, we got a website visit from an ad executive from Ziebart, the well-known auto care specialists.
Recently at Cowley Associates, we were tasked with a rebrand initiative that really brought out the best in us.
The client, formerly known as The Biomedical Institute of America “Innovators for the Health and Medical Field,” needed a new name to reflect their mission, vision and values and really bring them into the 21st century.
Metro Fitness & 42 Challenge: An Advertising Success Story
09/12/2013
Yesterday, Poe, Tracey, and I went down to Metro Fitness on Salina Street to sign up as the newest members of the gym. We just finished the first round of a hugely successful campaign for “The Metro 42 Challenge” and the owner, Randy Sabourin, is extremely pleased with the results.
Recently, Cowley had the pleasure of taking on a new type of website redesign project that we are particularly proud of, for Beautiful Mess Productions.
“Beautiful Mess” is a band and video production company that seeks to uplift people’s lives through their music and art. The group was not just looking for your typical website redesign: they wanted to create a resource and a new social network on their site to communicate to their fans and help people “live connected lives.”
It has been a very busy month here at Cowley Associates. One project that was completed this month was with Metro Fitness. Metro Fitness came to Cowley in need of help advertising its life-changing new fitness program called “The Metro 42 Challenge.”
Cowley was very pleased when they received the go ahead to create the new website for Tactair. Tactair is a certified designer and manufacturer of hydraulic and pneumatic controls for the aerospace industry. That sounds pretty technical and that’s because it is. Tactair creates all the essential parts that go into airplanes and helicopters which help make your flight go smoothly. They make the highest quality parts and are trusted not only inside commercial aircrafts but inside military aircrafts as well.
