I Forgot What the Grass Looked Like

Boy, has this winter been long or what?! I feel like everywhere I’ve turned there’s been snow on the ground, but that green grass has finally been able to peak its head out. Seeing Spring makes me excited for two very important reasons: 1) I can put on my leather jacket and start taking my motorcycle out for road trips, and 2) Spring represents rebirth and new life, something we can all benefit from.

Through my many years, I’ve found that we have a tendency to get bogged down by the drab of winter and being stuck inside (although I do enjoy my Netflix shows). The colors we see are dark and dreary. But, as we come into Spring, those colors start to change into tones that are light, airy, and vibrant. Shades of color that make you feel reenergized and see the world from a completely different lens.

This change of season helps us change our perspective on how we look at ourselves and our businesses. Spring marks a new day to start something fresh! Who knows what greatness will be uncovered once all that snow has finally disappeared.

Here’s to hoping that Spring lasts as long as this Winter did!
