Our New Tutorial Series: How To Manage Your Site's Content In Drupal
I've probably made around 30 plus Drupal sites so far at my time at Cowley. The site always ends with an hour or so training for the client to be able to update their site. I don't really have a script, and we haven't traditionally left clients with a handout. So, this makes for a different training experience for each client. Certain people are interested in the small stuff, certain people need to work with the system before they get it, and still others don't understand a thing I'm saying, but are too polite to tell me. Drupal is a really easy Content Management System (CMS) to use if your developer makes you a good website and I feel like sometimes our unscripted training overlooks the basics of how to manage the content. This prompted me to finally put something together for all of you that have had Drupal sites built. I'm proud to announce the debut of our Drupal tutorial series: "How To Manage Your Site's Content In Drupal - A Tutorial Series For The Non Tech Savvy" A Drupal Tutorial Series For The Non Tech SavvyAt the moment of this post we are featuring two videos, "How to Add Content" and "How to Change Content". We will be adding a few more soon covering the basics of drupal (like logging in and out), and perhaps an advanced one where we talk about the WSIWYG editor and more advanced blogging. If you are looking for a refresher on how to manage your content, or perhaps you are considering us for your next content managed site and would like to see what working with Drupal will be like, please watch the tutorials. I'd love to hear what you think of them, if you found them helpful, and what else you would like me to cover. Thanks for reading and watching! |
